I have just moved to a flat in the North of England, it’s currently August and I am wrapped up in two blankets and thick tracksuit because it’s just so cold in my flat. I’ve lived in the north for 2 years now and i’ve never felt this cold in a flat before, or even my childhood home. My bills are not included so as much as I want to, I’m not putting my heating on in August. What should I do and do I have any rights here? I refuse to accept this is acceptable living conditions, if it’s like this in August, I expect to see my breath in the air by December.
