Our buyers solicitors have raised a query that reads as follows:
"We note that the seller does not know when the boiler was installed. Please provide a copy of the Gas Safe Certificate for its installation. If this is not available, please provide a suitable draft indemnity policy and confirm the cost of the same will be met by the seller."
As may be obvious, I don't have the gas safe certificate but my solicitors are being absolutely useless in getting back to me about what the indemnity policy actually is or what the best course of action may be to get this resolved.
Could anyone shed some light please?
