So put an offer in a property for 231, there a few points in the survery that I need help understanding if I should run away.
1) guarantees or warranties for building improvement works which may include Cavity wall tie remedial work Injected cavity wall insulation Damp remediation work 2) external pointing to masonry 2500 estimate 3) replacement fire doors and frames 2500 4) on wall recored a 100% moisture reading with the caveat that the presence of fluorescent salts likely present increasing the moisture reading 5)no drip edge carved into the softfit of the stern overhanging the gable. Potential allow moisitre to drip underneath the coping stones 6)front room water pipe is a cast iron hopper and requires replacing soon 7) roof insulation has been heavily contaminated with roof dust and debris wheb roof covering was replaced the existing insulation should be removed and replaced 8) walls to cellar are damp , the celling below the living room should be stripped out and ventilation provided to floor joists. The floor baord should be insulted between joists whilst maintaining insulation. 10) 42% moisture reading to the ceiling(basement) to the rear if the building where the boards have been exposed.
