Doom and gloom news stories about mortgages
Post Body

I was reading this article earlier today:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn3dded32j2o.amp

Is it just me who doesn’t really see a particular issue with her situation? It seems to suggest a mortgage of under £600 per month, or approximately 30% of her salary is unrealistic to afford. It seems perfectly reasonable to me, or do people generally pay much less than 30% of take home salary towards the mortgage?
