Hi folks. I'm starting a new job in Glasgow on July 1st and will be moving from the South of England with my friend and our dog. My current job ends on June 1st and realistically I won't be able to do any viewings until then. I'm planning on going up the first week of June and booking a few viewings. Ideally I'd like to be able to move in a week or so before starting my new job to get settled.

People who have done similar moves, how did you find somewhere to live? How soon in advance of moving did you start looking? How quickly after viewing places were you able to move in? Is it feasible for me to begin viewings at the beginning of June and be able to move in a week or 2 later? Any helpful advice would be very much appreciated!
