Would you say Daemon's transition is smooth, throughout S2, from dreaming for 6 eps to seemingly back to reality and accepting his fate in the finale ?

As a show-only audience, I actually find Daemon in finale wholesome and the reunion with Rhaenyra really touching, enhanced by the contrast to his previous lost self, stuck in a dreamy limbo of internal struggles between desire for power, envy and loyalty, love. Much to look forward to in the next season from Daemon.
P.S Emma is such a good actress, so many layers of emotion can be felt from this line of her perfectly spoken High Valyrian.
