Just like the men in the show get to be complex and make mistakes and learn from them, Rhaenyra is allowed the same. She doesn’t have to be perfect to earn your support. You can acknowledge her mistakes!! While we’re on the subject, I love what Alice said about Rhaenyra possibly being able to pick Harwin out for herself if she just didn’t play rebellious teenager. I also feel like it was a mistake for her to leave for Dragonstone and continue to let the Green’s run amok in her home. I love my homegirl but if I was her…there’s several different steps I would have taken. You’re supposed to be able to watch Rhaenyra grow up and learn about her, her motivations, and who she is deep down inside. The Rhaenyra we know as an adult has successfully overcome some of these shortfalls while coming up with new ones, she’s still human and we should all be able to discuss it without feeling like we’re dissing her.
