*Conway's secret. What it is?? At first, I thought it was that he never saw combat/faked committing all those heroic actions, but that doesn't make sense at all. I'm still unsettled.
*Laura Moretti. Did she actually know her husband died because of Doug? Why would she say that she did? I was uber creeped when she said she hated him, and then said "why don't you come in, come on!" Wth lady?
*Frank & Claire throwing Doug under the bus. I think it's out of character, I know the Underwood are ruthless but I don't think Frank would ever turn on Doug.
*Not-so-subtle hints/foreshadowing: Frank coughing, people implying Claire could kill the president, etc. Felt forced to me.
*Claire killing Tom. She really loved him since she told him things she never told anyone... so why would she off him?
*Eric. I always thought Frank was okay with his sexuality, but maybe he pushed Eric away because Frank was uncomfortable in admitting that he is overly bi. It would show a fragile side to him that is unseen & unexpected. Or he just can't deal with feelings. Haha
Now I know the trailer was purposely misleading and most people's theories were wrong, but I am still interested in what you guys have to say about this! :)
Like a lot of people here, I am disappointed in this season. I find it underwhelming, many characters do things that don't make sense, new characters coming out of nowhere, a bunch of useless repetitive sex scenes, the show just wasn't as gripping as it used to be, at least to me.
This is not the outcome I want but ultimately I think that Claire will end up killing/betraying Frank. I always thought he loved her more than she loved him. I think Claire is the only thing/person Frank cares about and it's going to be his downfall. Just remember how irate he got when he learned that the general he was going to meet was the one who raped her.
To me, Claire is way worse than Frank because she's more cunning but dumber. With Frank, you know exactly what you get, with Claire, you think you can trust her and then she fucks you over. I do like them together though so I hope I'm wrong and Frank can end up prez & getting rid of her or I hope they can rule together & create the terror happily ever after. :)
