Throughout the years I've come across discussions about the show and how there are a lot of people that were disappointed in the fact that House never changed who he was. I would like to know your feelings about it.
Personally, I did not mind it. I think it aligned well with his character and his story. As a character, I think he's really interesting and he is one of my favorite TV characters ever.
I do like that he's a "what you see is what you get" kind of guy. He's so compelling because he's not a super great person, but Laurie is such a good actor and has such charisma as House that at times I can't help but like him. I like that House forced those around him to question their own motives/beliefs and figure out what they want and what they stood for. He may not have been able or willing to change himself, but I believe that he inspired change and growth in those around him. What are your thoughts?
