Howdy people.
I am a 3d graphics / GPGPU developer learning vulkan for now. I am beginning to develop physics and simulation dynamics such as the video seen here :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRoH3HcftX8
Now in one of the simulations is the bouncing sphere ( 2:50 ) that is made up of tiny spheres rolling down the incline and sticking to the hot plate and eventually melting. I have been trying for ages to replicate that bouncing sphere in houdini.
What I need is the object file ( or any geometry file ) of that sphere where all the smaller sub-spheres that comprise the larger sphere are somehow grouped and demarcated so as to alter them individually. In an object file, they can be separated in groups, or anything else...
Can someone instruct me on how to achieve this in houdini? Can this task be accomplished in houdini or is another application needed? If some one can even make this file for me and instruct me on how to construct this shape or any other shapes/models in this manner, I can compensate them. Thanks ;)
