My wife and I were role playing this idea for a long time. Years really. Once she finally got to telling me she might want to explore it, she ended up meeting up with a guy but then lying to me about it to try and hide it. Obviously since I’m writing this I found out. I am confused- why even bother telling me she wanted to explore this path if she was just going to meet with a man secretly and tell me lies to keep me from finding out? I can’t understand how this was the outcome after all the discussion that took place. This happened over a year ago. Relationship is stable and positive- this was honestly not even much of a bump in our road, probably because I was already open to her doing this anyways. I just didn’t want her to hide it. So I am wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and would like to tell me their experience.
