When my husband and I were still just talking about opening our marriage, we downloaded and started using an app called Spicer on our phones. It will send a daily prompt to you both with a sex act and ask you to select yes/no/maybe. If you both select yes or maybe, the app tells you it’s a match. You can then message each other about the match in the app. Many of the prompts involve things like threesomes, flirting with other people, and other HW-like activities.

It really gave us a safe space to discuss interests and boundaries. I liked having the opportunity to think my answers through before responding, and I never had to worry about accidentally misspeaking in person.
