Just curious what others think about this...I want to give as much detail as possible so the answers don't feel biased in my favor.
I(husband) do all the initial screening. I ask all the questions up front that I know are critical to my wife. If they pass that, then I'll show my wife pictures and let her give the green or red light to exchange phone numbers so she can text with them.
She needs some kind of connection and likes to text, flirt and get to know someone before meeting for a first dinner. I explain all this very clearly to the potential 3rd. I tell them; be cool be flirty and be engaging. Simple. Don't be a dud.
So wife and potential 3rd have been texting for a few days and on multiple occasions already when she asks how his day is, he says how terrible it is and complains about being a "business owner"
In my mind, he should save that shit for the therapist couch. He should be using his time chatting to get to know her, be flirty and fun. My wife thinks I'm being too hard.
So that's my question, am I asking too much or am I being too insensitive?
