How to avoid heat stroke after class?
Post Body
Doctor suspects I had heat stroke the night after I went to Bikram (I complained of pain in my arm and my BP was slightly elevated).
How do you avoid heat stroke or other symptoms after having taking a hot yoga class? Is it a matter of drinking a lot of water after class? Or is it just important that the water be cold?
The interesting thing is that after being gone from the Bikram studio for a year and half, I actually got through the standing series without having to sit out for a break even once.
