Good morning yogies!
I was hoping there may be some hot yoga teachers that could offer me advice or wisdom. I’m almost done with an 80 hour hot yoga certification and a little anxious to teach my first class. I guess I’m worried I will forget the sequence or stumble on my words, getting people in and out of poses or , have no valuable cues to offer the class. I’m sure these are normal feelings to have. I’ve been doing hot yoga for about four years now and I love the practice and what it has done for me mentally and physically. I’m just not sure if anyone has any tips or tricks or advice to help me get going in the beginning. I know that probably for the first year or so I will just be reciting cues and things that I’ve memorized but I’m looking forward to, relaxing, and truly having everything memorized so that I can find my voice as a teacher. 😊
