What does a guy get out of ghosting someone? I mean really...? Is it a power trip?
The wife and I had someone lined up that we found on Tinder... she was actually excited, this would be our first play date in a while, and our first guy who we didn't know personally...we had a week of good conversation leading up to Saturday night, exchanging pics and preferences, dirty talk, etc . We all agreed on a meeting place and we told him we had reserved a hotel room, he told us everything sounded good, he'd be there... all that was left was the time.
Come Saturday afternoon, we told him when we'd be there...waited, never heard back. I started to get suspicious after several hours with no reply...and sure enough, never heard from him again!
I had to watch my gorgeous, stacked, sexy wife lose her confidence, wondering why he bailed...it makes me very upset.
I've seen multiple stories on Reddit, I know this isn't unusual, but I really thought we'd found a decent match. I tried to tell her that it isn't her, but now she's just feeling like she got rejected, and she's in her head.
Any tips on how to restore my wife's confidence?
This unfortunately happens way to often. I used to get really down. Now I know it is their lack of confidence. Recently had a guy that even acted like he was at the valet and coming up to my room. Only to stop replying right after. He had messaged for months asking to meet 🙄
