Did you think your partner would be into the lifestyle when you first got together?

I'm curious if you thought your partner would be into the lifestyle when you first got together. I know in my case, I never thought my ex would be into it as she was quite innocent when we first started dating.
With that said, my current girl hasn't quite done anything physically yet but is very interested and we are just looking for the best way to safely make it happen- but with her i never doubted she would be open to the idea as she's extremely sexual and open to most anything.
