My Wife and I Argued About the Use of Our Home for Dates

Post Body

Hi All,

My wife and I recently opened our marriage, respectfully, to see other people. She has meta few guys already in public and had two to the house for play time. We have a full finished basement with a side entrance so its very accommodating.

Two days ago, i met a woman on a dating site. We texted, talked on the phone a few times, and today, i met her at a Starbucks for about an hour. We got along real well and will be seeing each other again.

I came home from the date and told my wife about it and that I had a good time. She was happy. I mentioned, that if we progress, i would maybe like to have her over to spend some time downstairs in the basement. Listen to music, watch movies, whatever.

My wife was dead against it saying things like "You cant have her here, women are crazy and she may become possessive of you and show up to the house!" and "She cant come here because she has had some troubled relationships and you dont know what can happen."

Now, this is what started the argument. She can have TWO guys here, one who she knew for 3 days and she had sex with and broke things off right after, and the other guy twice, abut i cant have a woman down here? MEN arent crazy as well? What is going on here?
