Been in the lifestyle for over 25 years now. As of last night, we are out.
Over the years we have added and subtracted rules as things progressed. "Our" rule for complete honesty was there since day negative...meaning since before we started doing anything. I qoute our as i thought that meant both of us.
I was wrong.
I recently found out my wife has been lying to me for the past 7 years. First by ommission then by outright comments.
I had been going to a friend's house yesterday, but they canceled so I stayed home. My car however was in the shop. So when he drove by and didn't see my car, he UNLOCKED the front door and walked in.
He came around the corner into the living room to find me standing there. A second later my wife walks into the living room.
While they are screaming I put my hand out and stared at him. He caught on and took my house key off his keyring and handed it to me. He then turned and left.
I turned to face my wife and she told me everything.
It boils down to..."I got caught up doing the one thing I wasn't allowed to do, cheat".
She says she wants to stay together so we are talking about that.
No, I don't need or want advice.
I just want you to know that everything was perfect, until it wasn't.
The "honesty" rule was broken.
