My wife (31) and I (39) have been in the lifestyle for quite some time, and it’s been an overall positive experience for us. She’s had a few partners in the past, but recently she started seeing someone new. She really enjoys his company, and as it turns out, he’s had a vasectomy.

Once all the necessary STD checks are cleared, she plans to have unprotected sex with him. Since she’s not on birth control, I don’t have the option to finish inside her, which is something we’ve navigated together. I find the idea of another man being able to finish inside her exciting, but at the same time, I’m grappling with feelings of jealousy around the fact that he can do something with her that I can’t.

I’m curious if anyone else has been in a similar situation and how you’ve handled those feelings. How do you find balance between embracing the excitement and managing the jealousy?
