After a long three year lead-in considering the Lifestyle My(M45) Wife(F38) and I had an incredible six months of fun, but then out of nowhere she got into her head about the morality of the lifestyle (she is from a conversative background but not practicing any religion) and then backed it up with some Dr Google exaggerated concerns about STI risk (even though we always use protection). It's now been another six months and she is showing no inclination of wanting to return.
When I bring up our adventures she says it was a mixed bag for her with a few excellent encounters, but mostly duds. She told me she absolutely loved the texting with guys, the excitement of flirting with them over drinks, seeing their hunger for her (she is stunningly attractive), but when it came to the main event she says additional to being frustratingly disappointed most of the time, that she also could never shake the feeling of guilt and shame afterwards.
Anyway, I gave her all the space she needed and we are still in very good place in our relationship, with excellent communication remaining from our lifestyle days and still passionately intimate (although it's down to maybe weekly, compared to daily when she was my Hotwife). Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful for the wonderful adventures we had and to be able to see my wife in such a different exciting light, but still disappointed if this is the end, when we were only just getting started.
Just wondering if anyone else has ever had a really long break and how did you rekindle the interest?
