Best Way to Approach or Start a Conversation with a Couple?

I'm a single male in my mid 40s that was in the swinger lifestyle for many years prior but now getting back in to it again but finding it extremely hard just to get a conversation with couples in the lifestyle. A lot of them also ask for the elusive unicorn but that's basically a needle in a haystack. I believe in good conversations about general topics and finding that mental and emotional connection before physical but I understand looks are an important quality. Any thoughts on how to break the ice either online or in person? Couples experience in the lifestyle is greatly appreciated.
