Ok so a bit of a text wall incoming. Iām currently in bed with covid and so I have time on my hands.
Situation: Iāve just got back from holiday and it was great! Really good time and seriously good weather and good and drink. Whilst on holiday, it was all about family fun; my husband and I were touchy feely and visibly affectionate but we didnāt have any physical fun. Just a combo of things but no issues.
Meanwhile, my kids became friends with some other children (as kids do) and my initial contact with the other children was through the dad. He seemed very lovely and nice and chatty and we bumped into each other a few times. At this stage, neither his wife or my husband had met. He was very engaging (yes he is cute) and gave off flirty vibes. Towards the end of his break (heās not from the UK but visits a lot) he suggested taking his phone number and email. So I did. And he said I should contact him as heād love to meet. I didnāt think much of it but when I told my husband later, he laughed and said that Iād been hit on and should āgo for itā.
Obviously the other man is married so I wouldnāt dare do āanythingā and nothing more than chat (and flirting at a very very very gentle level) took place. I later met his wife who is lovely and he and his wife met my husband. Everyone agreed that me and the other husband were the naturally social people and should go out together if in the UK.
Soā¦..given I havenāt even messaged the other man, and my husband is saying āgo for itā (we havenāt established what that means apart from him saying āsend a flirty textā) Iāve no idea how to approach this. I get the vibe that the other man is just someone who is v social and possibly had a holiday crush, but thatās it.
