I (M30) have been looking forward to making a post like this for a long time. Posting this on my wife's (F29) Reddit account to keep us anonymous.

I've been bringing up "hotwifing" to my wife for years and years now. It's been a fantasy of mine for a long time. At first, like most, she was reluctant, and expressed to me the little interest she had. We have very busy lives between work, our kids, ect. She always told me she had no desire to be with another man, which I respected! We've been married for almost 5 years, and have been together for 11!

She would get tons of matches but be too shy to pursue anything, or keep it short with anyone who reached out. That however changed this time around.

She matched with a guy who was also married, suggesting he was also in an open relationship. They chatted a little bit and I suggested maybe give her Snapchat. That following Monday I came home from work, where she said she had something to show me. She showed me messages where they talked for a few hours and I was stunned. Seemed like good casual conversation. I asked her how she felt about everything and she said "he's easy to talk to and he's cute".

About a month has gone by and they have been talking everyday. She's been showing me their conversation every night and I'm absolutely loving it. He seems like a very respectful, normal dude, sharing common interests outside of the lifestyle. They have a date set up a few weeks from now and when I think about it, I literally feel every emotion all at once. Excited, nervous, scared, horny, happy.

I feel like this has opened a new side of my wife. Since this has started, we've literally had sex everyday. It also seems like there is some new type of connection between us that has probably always been there, but we never realized. I'll say, it has been so fun. I'm excited to see what happens next.

From what I have read, and experienced thus far, I know communication is key to success in this lifestyle. So far I think both my wife and I are doing a good job expressing our fears, concerns and boundaries.
