What do you consider to be a red flag in potential thirds?

Wife and I looking for first mfm. Guy she’s talking too has sent off a few red flags such as asking if solo play would be on the table after her telling him strictly mfm. Also not asking any of our boundaries or rules. Am I over reacting as a newbie?
