How would you inform a third about this arrangement without scaring him?

Hello all. Hope to get advice again.
My wife is scared to bring up the idea that all her flirting/teasing with her guy friend is known by me. As far as the guy knows, I only know that they're chatting. She thinks that letting him in the idea of being a bull might scare him off.
I think it's important that he knows the setup. My wife is asking for tips on how to bring this up with him... gently. What worked for you if you dealt with a third that's new to this idea. This is us assuming that the guy knows nothing about the hotwife lifestyle.
