Getting tired of the online dating apps, we have very little success rate. My wife has a date Thursday night with a long time (2 months) guy she has been chatting with on Feeld. Let’s see if she gets rescheduled again… the timeline usually goes: starts well, both interested and exchanging pics, flirting goes well or ends there, men are curious and interested. Once you mention dates, meetups, schedules, ghosting happens or dragged out delays until it ends. It seems like this generation of men are lazy, picture collectors, or want one night stands only… I’m thinking of a different strategy of meeting likeminded people and networking to get this lifestyle going… but online is just getting tiresome. My wife might quit because of this; she is putting so much effort in only for it to fizzle. Sigh…
A lot of these guys are single because they have no respect for anyone other than themselves. That's why they find it ok to ghost you or cancel at the last minute.
I’ve heard this a lot, but in my (limited) feeld experience, everyone’s been great and actually reliable. I’m curious if we’ve just been lucky.
Oof, thanks for lowering my expectations. Hope it gets better.

We’re 2 for 2, so it hasn’t been a ton.
