I guess I'm looking for somebody to talk me out of it or tell me why this might be a bad idea. It feels a bit close to home and maybe risky?

So it's something we've been talking about for a while. We're both excited about the idea, and have talked about it both in the heat of the moment and also while more composed.

A few reasons in favor and against:

- He's cute.
- I know and trust him.
- I don't think our friendship would get hurt in any way.
- He's gotten a vasectomy and a round of STD tests, so we could go a little further than with a random person.
- It sounds weird, but he just went through a tough breakup and I think this would mean a lot to him.

On the other hand:

- He's a close friend to both of us, so if things somehow got weird we'd all have a lot to lose.

I still think I'm going to do this. Am I crazy?
