Just thought I'd throw this out there for anybody else just starting out. My wife had her first hookup (solo) last week and LOVED it. That guy is going to end up being a regular (this Tuesday for another meet up, in fact). She had another date/hookup planned for another guy last night that fell through...so we decided to try option #2 which ended up not being great for anybody.

She's been chatting with this local guy for about a week, and they met yesterday for lunch (without me). All seemed well. Good looking guy, clear expectations, understanding of our situation, etc. He invited us over, and we accepted after her other suiter dropped out. I was just going to watch (per his request, but I was cool with that).

We showed up at his house, and introductions were pleasant. My wife was ALL revved up so it escalated pretty quickly. Guy could not get hard. He said it was performance anxiety of having me be there...cool, I get it. I ended up bowing out to another room so she could get SOMETHING from the experience.

She had to work at it, but she got him (29 YO) hard finally. They progressed to some oral play for her, which she says he was NOT very good at, and when she was ready for sex he was soft again. So, she had to jerk him back to hard before they could continue. She put another condom on him, and they had missionary sex.

She thinks it only lasted between 30-45 seconds. She told him 'no problem, we can just fool around until you are ready for round #2'. I guess he admitted to not having any sex for something like 9 months. Fast forward 15 minutes and he just straight up told her he didn't think he was going to be able to go another round.

No big deal on that front, but it was apparent he wasn't going to get her off no matter how much time they wasted. He had sent her videos of him jerking off to her last week, so we were under the impression his equipment worked well enough. He wanted to cuddle, she declined since I was just chilling in the living room. Super awkward when they finally came out to see me. He like shook my hand and thanked me for the opportunity and very awkwardly kissed my wife and virtually kicked us out the door.

He had blocked her on social before we even had the car out of the driveway. We went home and had great sex (3 times), but the overall experience was pretty poor. It definitely hasn't dissuaded her from trying again, but it opened up our minds to the possibility of a low batting average hooking up the way we are doing it now.

We both think she's way better off with 1-2 guys who are able to perform vs chasing the next hookup...who may very well not be able to maintain an erection.

Anyway, just thought I'd share for others getting into this. It wasn't necessarily terrible, but neither of us actually got anything out of the experience. We talked about it and we are both just fine forging ahead. I imagine this won't be the last time we run into a less-than-stellar performer...regardless of how much effort we put into the search.
