It seems like every post I read from those new to the lifestyle is a guy who is interested in sharing his wife, and looking for ideas to bring it up / get her on board.

Thats the reverse of how it happened for us. Are there other couples on here where it was solely the wife’s idea?

My wife (40f) and I (40m) have been dabbling in the lifestyle in various ways for a good 10 years. But in the beginning it was just about each of us seeking out same-sex experiences, mainly MMF/FFM. For the longest time my wife expressed no interest in being with another guy.

As we dabbled more we had a FMF and eventually I agreed to an MFM which I had never thought I would, but was sure I’d never go beyond that.

Well my wife had the time of her life with that, and it was like it awakened something in her. She struggled with how to cope with that and through lots of talking I (at first reluctantly) agreed to let her explore more with guys.

All this to say … she talked me into it.

Now, I have to say my favorite role is either watching or listening. If she invites me to join, great, but I actually prefer the low pressure of just being excited for her and knowing we’ll have our fun together eventually.

Anyway, just curious if anyone else had a journey similar to ours as opposed to the male-led experiences I see all the time on here.
