Please read this with some consideration and no judgements. This happened some years ago and we are still active and going strong as such.

My husband's brother (BIL) met with a road accident that got his one leg amputated and got paralysis below mid thigh in the other leg, basically he had been bedridden for so many years and he had lost hope from life and was in a depressive state. Only reason he was alive was because of my mother in law and my husband, who took and still takes great care of him.

I built a great relationship and friendship with my BIL when I got married and came here and used to spend a lot of time with him and also helped my MIL to take care of him. A while later my husband was the one who suggested this idea, basically as a tool to better BIL's mood and outlook towards life. I thought about it for a bit and found it to be a good idea and we had closeness to go with that. I talked to my MIL about what we had come up with and she left that to us and her only suggestions to me were that if I were to do this, keep an open communication with both men, give 100 percent to both men and ultimately give the utmost priority to my marriage.

With her being onboard, my husband talked with his brother and he said a yes after three days. And with that, I started having sex with him, and our first time was when we were alone at home and both hubby and MIL went out to give us privacy. And with time, we got comfortable with doing it when they are home.

Sex and my affection changed him for better. His mood got positive and his outlook towards life changed. He started spending more time outside his room and the house. He first got a wfh job and then prepared for govt exam and cleared that and is now working as a clerk, and still preparing for a higher post. So I'd say things have been going good for us for years.
