Getting started again. Wife had a date for drinks. Guy was notably too drunk so she didn't go out.

Post Body

We had our 2nd baby several months back. The wife has been getting her groove back slowly and went out with friends for drinks and dancing recently. She was approached by guys and girls. She exchanged numbers with one guy and told me about it. I was excited to hear about it and happy to see that she's willing to dive into the lifestyle again a little bit even if this particular person isn't the right one.

It took a few weeks with the holidays and life in general for her to organize a meet up with this guy. He has seemed patient the entire time. They organized tonight to go out for drinks. He said to check back with him around 9:30 as he will be at a certain bar. She told him we had to get the kids to bed and make sure I was ok handling the kids on my own.

By 9:30 she's ready to go and shoots him a text. He responds about a half hour later saying where are you. After a little back and forth and 3 phone calls he asked where she was several times even though she answered him several times and was about ready to jump in an uber. When she got on the phone he seemed pretty drunk already as well.

She lost interest in going and ran it by me. I agreed with her and we both thought it might not be worth getting into if he's already drunk. We don't want her baby sitting him and having a bad experience.

I guess we better luck next time!
