Once I start writing, I can ramble, so TLDR:

• Years ago wife confided my desires to her close girlfriends
• This has been a ongoing source of excitement (with some thoughts on why)
• It has also prompted great anticipation towards an upcoming girls trip

As posted previously, I’m the husband in a late 40’s couple who have experimented most frequently at the candaulism end of the spectrum, (posting her nudes online, showing her nudes to friends, her beginning to wear more revealing outfits in public), however, we have not taken the plunge into active hotwife activities.

Over the past 5-10 years, I’ve gained tremendous appreciation for the baby steps taken as we’ve inched our (relatively tame) adventures forward. One thing that has resurfaced as a source of excitement is a discussion she had with her closest circle of girlfriends several years back.

In the first year or two after we started discussing this kink, she confided in this group of friends, (over several drinks), that the idea of sharing her was something I found exciting.

Across the four friends, the reactions ran the gamut. To paraphrase:

• ‘Omg….Don’t do it!’
• ‘Ugh, I’m so vanilla.’
• ‘That’s actually a pretty common fantasy’
• ‘Oooooh….Kinky!!!’

(An interesting aside, the ‘Don’t do it’ friend is since divorced, and in a new, several years long committed relationship with a man she openly says has relaxed her views on sex. She has since offered me a quick peak of her breast by pulling her bathing suit top to the side, and welcomes an ass grab here and there. I can’t tell you how exciting & appreciated these things are for a middle aged married guy!!)

Understanding that trust is a huge/central/core aspect of this dynamic, we had not discussed revealing this info to others, however, that she had sought perspective from her closest friends on this was not a concern to me. Quite the contrary, after a little initial uneasiness, (lasting on the order of minutes), I found myself extremely turned on knowing that 4 additional women (who I knew quite well), were aware of my desires. While some of the more extreme aspects of humiliation that some couples enjoy, (more power to them), have never appealed to me, I found the mild embarrassment of the situation extremely exciting. Perhaps on the flip side of the same coin, the ‘extended trust’ associated with the sharing of this information was a huge source of arousal. (I wonder if folks reading relate to this?)

I can only assume/expect that some/all of them subsequently relayed this to their significant others….a thought that increases my excitement. While I’m confident it’s not something that crosses any of their minds with frequency, (and I would never put any of them in an awkward position by asking), I am extremely interested if it has ever come up in any of their subsequent conversations, particularly the women. (Another aside, I’m curious if anyone reading would expect they might further discuss it with others if they were in that position…ie. ‘My girlfriend’s husband fantasizes about sharing her…)

Fast forward to the current day, where these 5 friends just began discussing plans to attend a conference (they are all in the same field) in Vegas next year. After telling me last night of the emerging plans, she followed up this morning with ‘Don’t worry…. I already started looking at new outfits for Vegas.’

While I may eventually come asking for reddit suggestions on how she might make this an exciting trip for us both, (looking at you r/hotwifechallenges), for now, the next several months will be spent basking in the glory of knowing my wife will be heading to Vegas with 4 close friends who all know I’m open to her playing with others. While I have no expectations of full on hookups, the opportunities for more moderate adventures, (and the texts/pix/updates that accompany them), will be a constant source of stimulation.

This might sound a little novice by the standards of many of the posts found here, but I often find the ‘tame but real’ more enthralling than some of the seemingly ‘wild but fantasy’ posts. I hope it resonates for some…
