Sorry if this is more of a rant than a question, but why are there so many flakey single guys out there?

Been slowly getting back into hotwifing after about an 8 year break. Didn't remember it being this difficult to find a guy who actually kept his word. We've talked to a bunch of guys over the last 4 or 5 months and a whole lot of them seemed really interested and then just vanished when it came time to actually do anything.

The last guy was the most frustrating, after weeks of flirting and getting to know each other we met in person and seemed to have a good time. So sex, but first meet went well. He bailed at the last minute for our second meeting, but apologized profusely, so we made arrangements and actually met the following week. Again, no sex, but a whole lot of foreplay. Since then we have scheduled a meeting with him 7 more times, and each time he cancels at the last minute, but then proceedes to text multiple times the next day flirting and apologizing.

Then last week he starts texting me and asking me if we are ever going to hook up, basically implying that I was stringing him along. I sternly reminded him that he canceled on us 7 times and that if he wanted to hook up he would have to do the planning. He was supposed to set up something for Friday, but that came and went and no word. So that's basically 8 times. We are done with him.

Sorry for the long winded rant. Just frustrating to put in all that time to get to know someone and then have to start all over again..
