This past weekend I [23M] was grabbing a yerbamate while on break from my waiting/bartending job at this beach town when this woman’s anklet caught my attention. In line in front of me there was a latino couple reminiscing on some high proof shooters on the counter that brought back some fun memories. The husband had what looked like soccer track suit and wife wearing a grey tight beach dress. Having noticed that the wife had a anklet with a lock charm on it I sparked a conversation with them about the shooters. If it weren’t for them beginning next to check out at the register I would have commented on the anklet.

Is a lock on the anklet related to HW or other couple dynamics?

Should I have commented on it quickly even though it would have been awkward since they were at the register?
