After multiple failed attempts locally, my wife is meeting an old friend for a long weekend
Post Body

After moving a couple of years back we have had challenges of finding a friend for my wife. It is either filled with no-shows and the people we did meet were not what we were looking for.

She had a friend previously where we all got along, attended events together and were true friends. We have talked about this person a few times and out of the blue he reached out to me the other day. He told me how he thought of our last meet up and missed us and hoped we could reconnect at some point. He has always been respectful and asked me to text her before any communication went to her which is very respectful and trusting.

He asked if we could put to his location soon but ultimately with kids, job, etc it is tough to make this happen. After a few more exchanges we found some time where she could do a solo trip for a long weekend with him and I will get all of the evidence through photos and vids. She has been a little honey badger in bed as we talk and think about this to a point of draining everything possible from my soul.

Very hot times to think about as she travels in a couple of weeks to see him. Of course there are always butterflies with something like this but we are both really looking forward to this time for her!!!!
