How many others experienced a huge emotional swing after wife’s first experience? I never really had post but clarity about this before, so it caught me off guard.

I had no regret, no animosity, wasn’t upset with her but definitely had a come down about 2 days after the fact where I questioned ever wanting this, a bit of jealousy which is rare for me, some insecurity also rare for me, and bit of self loathing about who i am and why I like this and ever wanted this.

I’m good now, wife was understanding, we communicated through it and she didn’t blame me, it was hard to communicate about it with out making her feel like i lost trust in her etc or upset that she did it. but i did focus on that to be clear that was not what I was feeling.

Just curious if this is something others have experienced in the beginning? how common? I believe it should be expected, so also this could be a warning for some of you that are approaching crossing that line from hypothetical to reality.
