Approaching couples at the club

So, hubs and I went to a swingers' club for the first time this weekend. We completely struck out Friday, because everyone seemed to be in pairs already, and he didn't really know how to approach another couple and express that we'd love it if the husband would come fuck me. He doesn't play, so it seems (to him) strange to come and try to peel off part of a couple.
Suggestions for how he should go about that?
