This has happened to me twice.

First one was I went to meet a guy at a hotel. I’d paid for the room so got there first and got myself all done up, hair, make up and dressed up. He knocked, I let him and instantly I could tell he was put off. After trying it with him for about ten minutes, he told me to stop and he was going to leave. I asked him why, not in w confrontational way, just wanted to know if I’d done anything wrong. He said the height difference was too much, I’m 5’9 he was 5’4. I said ok and he left. I was gutted. Id paid for this nice room and got all ready and worked myself up. I ended up messaging another guy I’d been talking to and told him the whole story and within an hour we were in bed.

The second one wanted to go out for dinner first. I met him we had some nice food and were just chatting. He was talking about his job and how much he earns. He then asked about my job so I just mentioned what I did and he kept pressing me about how much I earn so I told him and he went quiet. I didn’t really notice at first as I was enjoying the food too much lol. When I looked up he’d stopped eating and when the waiters came to collect the plates he said he was done and then when dessert came he just left it and then said “I’m going to go this isn’t for me”. Left me with the bill then text me later saying I’m too intimidating because I was the same height as him, I could hold my own in conversation with him, I earned more than him and drove a better car.

The height thing has come up a few times when talking to men and also the fact I have a good job has put some men off as they think it’ll make me too confident and less likely to be submissive! I’m very submissive! lol
