Dealing with Air BnB hosts

Post Body

I'm a third trying to set up a weekend getaway with the couple I'm involved with.

While we live less than an hour apart, neither party has much of a capacity to host at the moment, so we want to get an air BnB.

We want to get an air BnB instead of a hotel room because we want the extra space to play games, cook good, and enjoy other amenities like firepits and maybe even kayaking if we get a place near a creek.

Does anyone have any guidelines for selecting a quality air BnB? Do hosts typically question or even deny stays if two dudes and a woman want to stay a weekend somewhere?

Clearly, we'd want the entire place to ourselves, not a bedroom in someone's house.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

We'll default to a hotel if needed. But if our group call the other day was any indicator, we'd want an air BnB.
