First time for the wife and I and have some questions.

My wife and I had our first encounter a couple of nights ago. It was intense, in a good way!
1st question: Does the partner being there provide a more intense reaction, than simply having sex with another guy?
2 question: the feelings were almost overwhelming and sort of still are. How do you guys handle the aftermath?
Edit: Thank you guys for the support and the advice! With being able to correctly pinpoint those “nagging” feelings (jealousy, anxiety, fear) we should hopefully be able to move forward and keep enjoying. Yes we both want for it to be a next time ;)
