My wife and I (both early 40s, married 20 years) have been in the LS for about a year and a half, and it's been kind of rocky from the start, but I don't want the details to taint my question. A couple of days ago, we were just playing around and I asked her who was the best kisser she's been with. After hemming and hawing for a few minutes, she said her current FWB, but it wasn't fair to ask her that as she felt uncomfortable comparing me to other people. I reminded her that our rule from the beginning was that I would never ask her (or, honestly expect her) to compare me to these other guys, and that I was a little hurt that she was here. Fast forward to a day or two later, and I was playing guitar and singing, and she pulled out my box drum and started playing. (A little back story, music is a huge part of my life, I play several instruments and sing, record my own music, etc. Over the years, I've tried to teach her various instruments and singing, but she's always said she wasn't interested.) When I pointed out that I'd never seen her play it in the almost 10 years we've owned it, she said that she started playing when she is doing overnights with her current FWB who also plays guitar. Honestly, I need some outside perspective here. Do these seem like red flags, or am I just being petty and making a mountain out of a molehill?
