Any Good Places To Look For Freight?

Post Body

So here is the thing, this is my first month and I am new.

DAT seems like a good place to start and the carrier's load boards really suck. I am being told to work with some brokers I need at least 90 days or 180 days, depending on the broker I call. This leaves me with DAT, and even fewer options other than DAT. At least I get a free 30 day trial with DAT.

In addition, I am cold-calling shippers in my area (I'm based out of Miami).

I would appreciate your input. Maybe because I am making a rookie mistake, that I am doing something wrong. Feedback much appreciated.
