I'm not an aficionado or a farmer or anything like that. Just someone that likes to grow for my own kitchen. The most common peppers I grow are Anaheim, Poblano, Jalp, Serrano, Cayenne, and Habanero.
Some years are good, others rarely produce much. I don't know if I'm planting to early, over/under watering, etc... I mostly have problems with the Anaheim and Jalp, the others do pretty well, there has been a couple years I've had to give Cayenne and Habaneros away I had so many.
I'm just hoping to up my harvest of the less spicy and try and get consistent.
Edit:
Family is planning to move to southern AZ or NM in a few years, so if anyone has tips for those areas as well that would be great.
