I started an experiment a couple weeks ago. I'd been pruning the buds off my pepper plants since they were still small and I wanted them to focus on vegetative growth. I was expecting that either the one I continued to prune would overtake the at this time equally sized plant, or they would stay the same but instead the plant I have been letting flower is taller and a bit wider than the other.
Was wondering how many other people have done a side by side to compare before to know if this is just a myth or not.
I am considering it a possibility that the flowering plant got a boost of growth hormones and I may still see the pruned one catch up and overtake the flowering one.
