Hey /r/hotpeppers!
I had a few questions for you guys and hoping I can get some help.
I'm planting about 15 or so varieties of peppers today. I am concerned about a few things though, I'm not new to gardening but new to peppers.
For pollination, the pollinators like bees and such will spread pollen between pepper species, is there a risk of pollinating the wrong pepper with the wrong pollen? I want the seeds for future stock, if the seeds absolutely cannot be trusted I suppose I could just clone the peppers to build a stock but would prefer seeds.
Also my understanding is pollination is important with peppers' bloom/fruit, these are my first and I don't know that I'll have males of all varieties or any males at all. Should I buy pollen online somewhere, and if so does anyone have any recommendations?
Thank you for the help, hope everyone has a happy growing season!
