I’m looking for a horse that would have some endurance and be sure footed, but still be fairly large as I am 6 feet tall, specifically for horseback camping. So able to carry a little weight (although we are looking into getting a pack mule/ pack horse as well) What are y’all’s recommendations?
Get a horse that’s done it before, that’s the best advice. We have an outfitting business and have a mix of mammoth donkeys, mules, quarter horses and half drafts. It’s about the individual horse, not breed
