My mustang’s color results came back!

The roan was the biggest shock but the equine color group believes it to be a roan that’s not detected in current studies because the roan that’s used to base off the test is from QHs. I wasn’t quite sure what her pattern was so it was nice to get a solid answer. She’s had 3 roan babies - two blue (one with a mark across the shoulder) and one red. There is a two year gap out on the range with no babies so now I’m wondering if the LWO is to blame. (Her nurturing skills with baby #3 were questionable at times haha)

The first set of pictures were some nice ones I just took - you can barely see her roaning and can really see her bleaching. The super roan pics are from April 2023 - she didn’t get super roany this winter/spring in comparison. Then there’s a better pic of her face with the red baby. Results are last image!

Anyway just wanted to share because it’s interesting and also that I think she’s the prettiest 😊
