Can you put someone who is 4 foot 11 inches and weighs 90-110 pounds on a mule that is 12.1 hands or will it look too off balanced?

Totally, just wanted to give you the heads up — what you’re looking for is both rare and expensive, but if neither of those things bother you… ☺️

Mules are stronger pound for pound than your average horse — but you’ll be lucky to find a pony mule got a beginner rider. They’re rare, they’re expensive, and they’re hard to find — mules are FAR trickier than horses in everything from training to husbandry.

He’s not a pony (he’s close to 17hh) but you can see photos of my saddle mule (and donkey) I’ve posted here before in my history. I would recommend you get a horse that suits your need imo.
