I swear I have pickiest eater on the planet. I got my boy, TWH last year January. He tested positive for cushings when I got him so I started prascend and changed his grain. He did not like anything we gave him. It was a struggle for most of the winter through late summer. Finally kalm n easy was the ticket and he ate without issue, gained weight and generally was fine.
This week he’s refusing grain again, he just doesn’t seem to care about at all. I use to be able to hand feed him his medicine with a bit of grain but that doesn’t work either. He will take it with a Cushing safe treat though.
He has access to grass and hay and I realize it’s pretty early to be worried but I just don’t want to run into issues like last year where he drops weight again.
So I guess I’m just asking if anyone here has had a similar issue? Think it’s the meds? Or just him being picky?
I've never handled it myself nor do I remember what people recommend in this situation but I have heard this will happen with prascend.
